A minutes silence.

September 9, 2009

Today, at 11.05, there was a minutes silence, in memorial to a beautiful red scarf, which died a tragic death in a washing machine, on a 50degree cycle. We believe the cause of death to be indirectly due to the temperature of the water, the vigour of the cycle, and the presence of several pairs of jeans, in the machine. While the full facts are not yet known, we do know it was an accident that led to the scarf being present in the machine.

I would like to honor the contribution that this scarf made to my wardrobe, since its purchase as a present for someone else, during the christmas period of 2005. Farewell red scarf, you shall be missed, and we will learn the lessons from your tragic demise.
