The writing is the easy bit. But it’s only the first part. Then you have the editing. If you do this bit right, you get a well crafted piece of work, that says what you need it to say. If you don’t do it right- you end up with a zillion semi formed ideas, and a ramble of words, with too many commas. I tend to skip it with blogging, which is probably a mistake.

Rachel’s life plan.
April 2, 2010We got a letter from Rachel’s new school today confirming her autumn attendance. Receipt of this news prompted her to share her plan for becoming a big girl.
1) Buy a school uniform.
2) Buy a school bag.
3) Get a wobbly tooth.
4) Have a bicycle with pedals.
5) Go to school and learn to read, so she doesn’t have to wait for me to tell her stories.
6) Have sleepovers.
